Yoga Wall

The roots
of Yoga Wall date back to ancient times. This practice sug- gests that the body
should solve new tasks, more interesting and chal- lenging than traditional
asanas. The body involved in this practice loses its habitual link with the
ground and is sometimes situated in positions which are impossible without
additional props (yoga-patta).

#yogawall in Lviv
YogaWall
classes have their own specifics in every new city. In Lviv the studio equipped
for yoga on the rope wall right from the start catches the eye with its beauty
and plenty of open space. Practice here is a pleasure. Students are open for
new experience and experiments with their bodies. And it fosters productive
work: in two days of practice we progressed from the simplest introductory
asanas to advanced ones, those demanding much strength, endurance and
coordination. Practicing in Lviv is also a chance to take a night walk through
the old town, while full moon makes its architecture even heavier with the
spirit of antiquity and mysticism. Many thanks for the invitation and creative

the influence of #yogawall to vestibular system
Training of
the vestibular system during the wall practice is even more active than on a
mat. Congruence of muscular activity in the process of asana performance is
coordinated by the vestibular system whose organs are located in the inner ear.
Its main task is keeping body in equilibrium. In hatha-yoga it is trained by
regular practice of balancing asanas. As for wall asanas it is involved al-
most all the time since the body is constantly balancing for equilibrium.
